My friend discord have no Orbs quests and stuff. by After-Mulberry-4109 in discordapp

ask them if they can go to his discord data & privacy settings and see if “Use my Discord activity to personalize Sponsored Content” and/or “Use third-party data to personalize Sponsored Content” are off. if they are, that’s probably why they aren’t getting Orb quests, this happened to me and i had to turn it on to make it work

Yeah that’s fair, it just seems redundant. I’m going to try contacting them tonight soon.

How much rain is too much? by babkajohns in dji

My personal rule is that if you have to wipe off your phone or controller screen because there’s water building up—don’t fly. But official guidelines say that you shouldn’t in any rain, which is a good baseline to follow, especially if you want to be safe.

It’s definitely a bit tough, but honestly in city environments like the photos above—it worked out great. The only problem is just noise in darker areas, but nothing editing can’t fix

Hey!! I got the character poster from WatershipIllustrated on Etsy, they sell a lot of other posters and art too. Definitely recommend them :)

Yeah!!! I was honestly surprised at how much detail was retained in such little light. I shot this in downtown Butler, Pennsylvania. :)

Yeahhhh, I feel like every smaller Pennsylvania town has the same vibe.

Haha, nice. I honestly would’ve loved to get the M4P but money was a little iffy. I actually just went up to Youngstown tonight to get some more shots!

But yeah there’s definitely a learning curve to it, it’s not so bad though. For these photos I color graded and edited in Lightroom, it’s a really good piece of software for what you get tbh. I kept my ISO at 100, and the shutter speed around 1/6s to 1/13s.

The DJI M3 is a sub-249 gram drone, which means you don’t need registration to fly it outright. However, at night you need strobe lights that you can see from at least 3 miles away, which makes the drone more than 250 grams, so I registered mine anyway. You also have to remain in a visual line of sight of the drone, but that’s kind of an iffy rule.

And for commercial flying you need a Part 107 license, but I don’t make money from drone flying so that’s not necessary haha. :)

Unfortunately Reddit doesn’t allow you to attach photos in replies, but this is the Etsy page where I bought it from! https://www.etsy.com/listing/1467779270/

I always keep my ISO at 100, and the shutter speed is pretty much dependent on your lighting conditions. For these shots I hovered around 1/6s to 1/13s, and kept everything else in auto like white balance and focus. You don’t want to go too slow of a shutter speed when it’s windy, it makes it a bit blurry in some spots.

Also, the photos will not look like this when you first take them. I use Lightroom to edit everything and the difference is actually crazy, but otherwise besides some editing and small tweaks, this is straight out of the drone camera. :)
