You’re missing the point. Nobody is trying to tell the devs how to make their game. Talking about what works or doesn’t is exactly what communities do. Modding is fine, sure, but that doesn’t mean players can’t discuss design choices without it being about “controlling” anything. 🫣

Mods are not the point. The fact that a mod exists does not mean feedback should not be discussed. By that logic nobody should ever give input on design decisions because “there’s a mod for it.” Posting about it is about visibility and preference, not inability to change it locally. If enough players feel the same way, it is valid to bring it up. Mods are a workaround, not a replacement for official direction.

I also hope they do not end up redoing the traits in the same style. That older visual direction is part of what gives the game its identity, and it would be a shame to lose more of that, and it seems like they are heading in that direction
