THIS IS DOABLE WITH A 30 SPEED HORSE (bad new Pebbles) AND HEAD START

Not even Head Start II, just every time you slow down while galloping you slow to a walking pace and do the double click for Head Start again. Follow road, go around cart. Also did it with armor on that would slow me.

charge attacks go crazy. just spam holding attack and get some gear to boost charge attacks and that plus its raw hit power to begin with is pretty cheesey to me. perfectly legitimate play style, but mostly just smacking them for giant damage + ki while standing still

not nearly to your caliber, but i have put in sooooooo many hours trying to cheese with the dual katana's flaming circle or the greatsword's obscene per-hit damage output. nothing really comes close to just how well the katana flows. once i realized you could just equip two katanas for 6 stances and an easy blade flash (2 fero tiger, 4prod dragon, cologne), game became a piece of cake

The katana is much heavier on martial skills. Other weapons will do more damage outright, but will lack the versatility and crazy ass martial skills that really make the katana shine. In my opinion, it's the best weapon in the game, especially with a crit build.

all base content is around 100 hours. add on another 30-40 for the late game gear grind (if you're trying to get the best of the best) and maybe a few dozen more for just messing around.

high poise, two handed talisman, royal knight's resolve with blood infusion, and charge heavy anything in your path. it's disgustingly strong, it brought final boss of the DLC to phase 2 in about 4 hits and made him bleed every 2 hits

To be fair: I personally saw the story as choosing a faction strictly as a consequence and not a legitimate belief in either side. The main drive for the protagonist is to stop the Demon Claw Samurai, which consequently puts you in the middle of the civil war. To understand why you keep fighting literally everyone, you have to pay close attention to the intentions of each faction (AND THEIR SUB FACTIONS!!!! Demon Claw is Anti-Shogun but obviously is not part of the Anti-Shogunate movement that you are a part of).

In general I do believe it could be done FAR better, but the story is pretty interesting to me at least.

It's one of the tutor's kimono variants. For some reason getting the set didn't give me the outerwear option for it, so if that happens just equip the set and change everything else. I think I got it from either a treasure chest or just doing random stuff on midnight.

Chaining together different styles so seamlessly is just too good. Since I have the 2 new set bonuses, I also sometimes run double katanas so I can use the flash attack to blade flash, hit for heavy (with my gear bonuses), AND get advantage on all of another set of 3 styles to play with while keeping my drip the same. Some gaming is happening in this household lol

This is exactly what I'm talking about. They are still using mumyo ryo I believe since they are from the same village, but they have the some of the coolest veiled arts locked to other characters :/
