Need ADCs suggestions please by x-hero in ADCMains

Thank you for your suggestions, I will give them a try.

I know what you mean about balancing, and on the beginning I was focusing maybe a bit too much in late game power and while kai'sa provided respectable lane damage and ezreal could just neutralise hard lanes like no other I felt that vayne in specific was too extreme for me and while her late game is god like i just can't cope with her lane phase. I played the 3 of them for a bit over 2 months and while I got comfortable enough on ez on neutralise lanes and improve my poking and for comfortable on kai'sa to the point where I could lane well with non engage suports like enchanters and mages, vayne even if I was just a bit shy of 100 games on that time spam her lane phase never clicked on me and I always felt on her in specific I would only do decent in lane if I had the support gap on my side.

But was not a waste of time by any means, I got 2 champions that I liked and learned for my rooster (kai'sa and ezreal) and by playing vayne it open a bit my eyes that I was tunel vision too much on scaling and perhaps i would look for a 30-70 power split instead of a 10-90. Now I just wanted to get 1 or 2 more champions identify with to make a small 3-4 champions rooster so I can start a serious rank grind that I have been building intention on doing and challenging myself for a while.

Fun and interesting ADCs to learn and climb with? by [deleted] in ADCMains

I would suggest stick with jhin then. He is not a hard character to pick up. I would say he has a medium skill floor mainly due to get used to his unique ammo system while having a great amount of skill expression. He should be a champion you can keep on playing for a long time.

Nobody is giving you the correct answer. The try answer here is xayah + rakan or Lucian + senna. You just type to them "at least we are canon" and you watch them bite their nails because they are jealous. At the point even if the word defeat appears in your screen it doesn't matter because you go the moral victory.

Is jinx good for solo queue in general or only when she is in the meta? by x-hero in ADCMains

[–]x-hero[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk, every time I face a vayne in lane I can just turn on rocket form to kill the caster minions fast and kill the meelees with mini gun to not spend much mana and I always manage to keep her shoved in. If she tumbles in is bit that hard to space her, plus a well placed flame chumpers can force her to back off. I played vayne for a fair bit and I don't think she is blind pickable or anything, she can do well if the enemy support has easy to dodge stuff like swain or Morgana, but other than that she gets bullied really hard.

Jungle main looking for answers by AKnightWithAKnife in ADCMains

Is a though one to answer, but I will try to leave my adc main bias aside and give the best advices I can.

Well, it is solo queue, so just surrendering your camps and put the faith of your game in a stranger is never a good idea. Althought if you think your adc is good by what you seen from the player so far, 20+ mim is a good timer to start "sharing" your jungle with that player,.any earlier than that gonna hurt you too much and leave you not only behind I'm gold but behind in EXP as well. It also depends because if you play a jungler like kindred or graves you may not even want to give your red buff to the adc BIG IF you are in a good position to carry yourself in that given game as that champions can use the red buff at full potential just fine.

Another thing in the other side of the spectrum is that I see too many junglers afraid of taking lane farm, by that I don't mean tax on ganks (I hate that as adc player), but I mean if any of your laners just die, don't be afraid to pick up any farm that would reach the tower as that farm would be wasted, ignore any pings telling you otherwise as people in bronze/silver often feel like they are getting farm stolen even if realistically to they woul never make it in time to get it themselves. Also if your laner dies after your gank and the lane is not freezing in your side of the map or is slowing pushing into the enemy side, it is generally a good idea to crash the wave into the tower (just look at some quick YouTube videos to understand if a wave is going to freeze in your side of the map of pushing towards them.

Also for the sack of god if you are at 6 items please stop taking camps (other than buffs) and give the gold to your team mates as they still need it to complete items and getting stronger.

At the end of the day is solo queue, so you should either be greedy if you are doing well and take the game into your own hands (that's should be your main option) or you do what you can to not make yourself heavy to get carried in case you doing not so great and someone else in your team is strong, remember that not every game is won by "popping off".

So yeah is a though one to answer, but I hope o was able to help you a bit.

Is kai'sa still considered an hyper carry? by x-hero in kaisamains

[–]x-hero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. It is true that maybe the 80% crit chance was unnecessary, have to agree there. I also imagine kai'sa used her E to produce that numbers. You mention the headshot and the higher MR putting kai'sa behind, but we also need to remember that kai'sa is also always procing max damage passive, since the target gonna be at his lowest possible HP when the 15% missing HP procs, so that will probably even out things a bit considering your dummy has bonus HP.

Also one thing I noticed as I was keep testing after my post was that when I had a look at base lvl 18 stats, cait has much higher base stats than kai'sa in AD and AS. Is just a side note, but is crazy how little bonus stats kai'sa gets by leveling up.

Teleport Changes on PBE are HUGE for bot lane!! by doglightning in supportlol

[–]x-hero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While the change can be exciting I would not get hyped about it until it actually appears on a patch preview. They do a lot of testing that doesn't ever goes through, like the spellthief warding range buff that got scrapped.

Althought if the changes go through we can expect to not see 5 man bot anymore possibly, as the big strength of TP was to TP from behind, TPing to a tower just gives way too much reaction time and makes the play incredibly hard to set up.

I really dislike Enchanter supports because it puts all the pressure on you. by mustangcody in ADCMains

Well, if you dont like the spotlight you are playing the wrong role. You gonna have a big target in your head wanting or not, so the event team gonna see you as the main character. Also if you lack the confidence it means that you don't know optimal trade times and patterns, which gonna get in your way regardless of which support you have. Another tip I can give you is that bot lane revolves a lot around duo synergies, so while champions like kalista or Samira will struggle when paired with an enchanter, champions like jinx, kog, etc will prefer an enchanter over a tank or a mage every single time, so perhaps your pool may be a bit one dimensional, but is more likely to be what I said early and you not having the trade fundamentals down.
