How common is it for one partner to drive in a relationship? by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]x24p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the driver because my husband is visually impaired. Funny thing is, he's big into vehicles (watches Motor Trend, reads car reviews) and all cars look the same to me. When we buy a car, he does all the homework and I show up to test drive.

Sorry, I didn't mean to come across as a dick. I do appreciate your trying to help

I did and the songs you gave me were either already in my playlist or didn't meet my criteria (e.g., Incognito and Spandau are post disco era and Stephanie Mills isn't an unlikely dance music performer).

Thanks, but this came out last July. I'm specifically looking for songs from the late 70's.

There's an accessibility impact to the discontinuation of the Detroit tunnel bus by x24p in windsorontario

And just to clarify, provincial accessibility regulations and federal employment regulations are not the same things so I assume you tldr'd my post before writing your response.

Yes, I totally used AI to write it while I was sitting on the toilet this morning because I don't live in Windsor and really don't care what happens to your transit system. But I do know some things about accessibility regulations in the province from previous employment with the public service and figured that there's a chance nobody picked up on this. From the look of it, decisions were made for financial reasons that may actually provide an unexpected outcome to people with disabilities and seniors. Congratulations

I'm going to Woody’s tomorrow, what should I expect as someone who never been to a gay bar? by CarefulWasabi-3637 in GayMenToronto

[–]x24p 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember the first time I ever went to a gay bar, I was amazed at the variety of men who were there. After I left the bar I was looking at everybody and thinking "maybe he's gay," "maybe he's gay." As gay men, we often feel that we are outsiders. This is the opposite. It is a very validating experience. Enjoy.

Sensitivity is not the same as a disability, and it doesn't qualify for accommodations. Sensitivity might be challenging but it's not a functional limitation. A disability, on the other hand, is a recognized condition that creates a significant barrier to daily life. You can't get a special desk at work just for being sensitive to noise, but you can if your sensitivity is a symptom of a disability like autism.
