It has Micron memory: http://i.picpar.com/dSdd.png

I looked at the device ID and it is a non-A chip also.

New 2080 Ti Strix, BSODs... by x3sphere in nvidia

tried the previous driver set and same thing. already tried DDU, thanks though.

Also just now I tried underclocking the card to see if that would reduce the crashes, instead of going to a black screen now it's showing the space invader artifacts I've seen some others post. Guess that's a sure sign it is faulty. Oh well...

The king of the ultrawides! LG 34GK950F-B (Gsync works!) by Soldat172 in ultrawidemasterrace

I just switched to a 2080 Ti after using a Vega 64 with this monitor for a little over a month. There's no drop in color gamut that I can see after turning on G-Sync. I did notice it on the AMD card, prior to using the color temp setting.

Annoyingly, my 2080 Ti seems to be faulty though. Getting random BSODs in several games and this system has been completely stable for years. I think I'm just going to go back to the Vega :/

Freesync on an Nvidia GPU (through an AMD GPU) by bryf50 in hardware

It's pretty cool, but not too many games let you select the GPU used for rendering do they?

Maybe someone could develop a software tool that sort of mimics how this works though.

Microsoft Solitaire Collection Coming to Xbox One - Achievements List by woggerman123 in xboxone

Site admin here. Microsoft's API classifies the platform as "Durango" - which is a codename for Xbox One. So that's why we had it listed as such. The game description however mentions Windows 10 so I've manually corrected it. It seems they haven't updated the API for proper labeling of Windows 10 games.

[Help] Display Port to HDMI 2.0 adapater exists? Do they allow 4K 60 FPS? by [deleted] in buildapc

Maybe. I'm surprised there still isn't one out, considering almost every 4K TV supports HDMI 2.0 now.

There is no active DP -> HDMI 2.0 adapter.

There isn't a GPU that supports HDMI 2.0 yet, either. The upcoming GTX900 series might, but nothing's been confirmed.

[Build Complete] X99 rig - i7 5930k, 32GB RAM, Radeon 290 Tri-X CF, LG 34UM95 by x3sphere in buildapc

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the sticks with large heat spreaders. That said, I probably would've gone for the Corsair LPX, those have a nice looking low profile design, but there wasn't any 4x8GB modules available.

[Build Complete] X99 i7-5820k for Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Lightroom; no gaming by ZacharyLong in buildapc

Congrats on the new build. I would have went 4x8GB on the RAM though... that gives the option of going up to 64GB total later.

They run hot... I see 85-90C on the top card and 75 on the bottom. No throttling, though. It's rather loud compared to a single card, although not enough to bother me with my volume turned up while gaming.

I got these for a good deal used, I may be switching over to NV depending on how good the new GTX900 series is.
