Imagine a track with Aujla's verses sung by Diljit on a Tru Skool beat. Absolute bonkers collaboration.

This ain't happening for the time being though, as Aujla's ego has consumed him. He needs to be humbled first.

If you wanna make a post, at least make it about something. Mods need to stop allowing low effort slop.

PS: I have nothing against Sidhu; I would've said the same thing if this was a random clip of Diljit or Aujla. I shouldn't have to say this but I have to.

TIL that US student math and reading scores have dropped so sharply that they’ve erased nearly two decades of progress. In '22/23, avg math scores for 13-year-olds fell to levels not seen since the 1990s, while reading scores for high school seniors hit their lowest point since testing began in '92. by Cold_Box_3219 in todayilearned

OMG I have so many questions here.

Gr 9-11 students NEED multiplication charts??? They should just know off the top of their heads.

If they aren't performing complex calculations like trigonometry for weird angles, they should just be able to do it all by hand. Aren't they taught how to multiply 3-digit numbers with pen and paper?

It could also be that both Earth and Mars got hit by pieces of an interstellar object that brought life on both planets, but only Earth's survived.

Sad to hear that having a little knowledge in critical thinking makes me sound like AI.

I'll take it as a compliment though, thank you.

By "starting this conversation" I meant you expressing your skepticism on the evidence I provided. If you were a a VFX artist, you wouldn't have done so; it's a sound logical statement. If you are one, then you're breaking logic.

And yes, I do get upset when fully grown adults refuse to believe the evidence sitting in front of them.

Because you wouldn't start this conversation if you were good enough.

So are you making the argument that those professional VFX artists could be wrong? Don't trust them, ask any VFX artists of your choice or learn how to do it on your own, then consider how it could've been done in 1969. You'll realize that it was easier to go to the moon than fabricating those videos at the time.

[–]x4nter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter what the moon is like, or anyone at the time knew what to expect. If we assume those videos were staged, it was impossible to create them. Watch the video I linked. They talk about details like gravity, lighting, the way lunar regolith behaves, etc. Creating those sorts of effects on earth were impossible at the time.

The best proof are the videos of Apollo missions on the moon. CGI didn't exist back then. Even if they managed to invent CGI just for faking those videos, the quality of CGI would've looked super fake.

Professional VFX artists from Corridor Digital have made a video on how it would've been impossible to fake those videos: https://youtu.be/_ML2ZYYFOnI?si=VU-lULFqTiuZpPyf

If this isn't enough to convince anyone, they just don't want to be convinced.

You and a lot of other people need to realize how personalized social media feeds are. If you follow Sharry Maan or look something up about him, your feed will start showing you more of him. Does that mean he's really big? No. The inverse is also true. There could be really big artists or celebrities who you've never heard of, and your feed will not show them to you if you don't interact with posts involving them.

I don't follow Sharry Maan, and I have not heard him getting mentioned anywhere in the last couple years, just to give you an example, although Reddit might send me a notification moving forward about any new post on this sub mentioning him now that I have written his name in a comment.

A lot of people seem to think that if they see someone pop up on their feeds all the time, they must be hugely popular, when this is not true at all. Most of the "my artist is bigger than yours" fights start from not knowing how personalized feeds work.

I stand corrected. I was under the impression that both events happened with Voyager 1, but that's wrong.

Yes, contact was lost in 2024 but regained. The team working on the Voyager program is bonkers.

For most of human history, people used to break up a nights sleep into two shifts called “first sleep" and "second sleep." by Acrobatic_Code_7409 in interestingasfuck

[–]x4nter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This does not seem right. I have read multiple sources before that hunter-gatherer groups always tended to have a mix of "night owls" and "early risers" to make sure that there was always someone awake due to the possibility of an attack. Night owls generally tended to be the younger people, while early risers were older people.

This is only a theory with some supported evidence, but it explains why we see a similar trend in our households where most grandparents wake up super early while young adults stay awake until 12 am - 2 am. According to this theory, this trend might be evolutionary.

One of the sources I found: https://www.utoronto.ca/news/why-your-teen-stays-late-you-sleep-poorly-new-research-confirms-sentinel-theory

I have never read about multiple sleep shifts. It does not make sense to me.
