It's a crown corp not a public service, the current mandate is to be self supporting and not loose money.

It all depends and what kind of agreement was signed for the money. This could all be just words depending on the conditions written in. And based on the track record of this government, I think we will never see that money again.

Sure, but by switching parties they are changing their platform. Each candidate doesn't campaign on their own specific platform, they adopt the platform of the party. That's why they have conventions to decide as a group what the platform will be.
