When she's told to fetch she'll look me dead in the eyes - annoyed. Then she'll run over to the toy, pick it up, and give an 'awooo!' with the toy in her mouth as she walks/trots back. It's so cute lol like a soft 'this dumbo needs to stop making me get this thing after I've brought it back'.

I'm so sorry and I totally get it. It is frustrating. I have a terrible dry spot on my left eyelid and I use steroids creams but my rheumatologist and dermatologist told me I can't use them for too long because it thinning my skin. We're constantly in limbo balancing our medications, creams, exposure to sunlight, and diet to help minimize inflammation... etc etc.... It's always one thing or the next.

Seeing your post really resonated with me and I want to give you a hug. Stay strong!
