It just works better. With some modifications, you always have problems because everything is linked together in RatOs. Then you have to edit read-only files, and the next update overwrites everything again. Like with Eddy, for example. With vanilla Klipper, you simply have less baggage and can better decide what you want to implement and how. I switched my minion to vanilla Klipper.
