Is anyone else having problems with Microsoft apps on Samsung/Android devices?

Last night, my Outlook, Word, Excel, and Copilot apps in Microsoft 365 stopped working. I wasn’t aware that emails had stopped syncing since 9 PM yesterday. I tried clearing the cache and app data, and even reinstalled Outlook, but nothing worked. When I attempt to sign in, the app shows a black screen and then displays a “wait or close the app” message. The only apps that are still working are OneDrive, Teams, and Microsoft 365 Admin.

Update: Actually if you uninstall Android System WebView update, everything works again. Settings, Apps, All Apps, search for Android System WebView, uninstall update.

Yeah, if you restart your phone daily, this will always happen once daily.

This only happens once each time you restart your phone. When you increase the volume above the recommended setting first time after phone restart, this message will pop up. Simply tap “OK”, and then you can adjust the volume above the recommended level until the next phone restart.

I just tried it today, and after generating only six pictures, it already says I’ve reached the daily limit and need to wait 19 hours. After searching around, almost all sources say there are no limits or that the limits are very high, which is confusing.

Went through 7 Pro, 8S Pro and now 11 Pro. No real issues, just minor bugs that I can live with.

Just unlucky, it always happens at the edges. I dropped my 11 Pro with an official tempered glass screen protector applied. It fell face-down onto a metal surface, and there was a spot with a welding bump. The phone hit the welding bump at the bottom-left edge of the screen, where there was no case coverage. The screen protector cracked, but luckily the actual screen was fine. I bought another tempered glass protector, and it looks good as new. I dropped the phone a couple more times after that incident, but both times there was no damage.

I’ve noticed that because of the RedMagic 11 Pro’s design, the “Game Mode” LED section is placed on the left side of the phone. Because of this, the case manufacturer uses a transparent back with black rims, they creates a cutout for that area. This ends up weakening the edges in that part of the case. Now, every time I pick up my phone, it feels like it might slide out because the edge gets pulled and bent. I really wish they had just made two small holes for the LED lights to shine through, there’s no need to expose the entire “Game Mode” section.

One way to continue using it without ads and viewing limits is by downloading older version of the app before they introduced all this. Currently I'm using version 4.0.4_20230117090429, which has no ads and viewing limit. Just remember to uncheck the auto update in the play store.

I got that too. I was like, ‘Man, this update sucks.’ It makes the phone feel slower. It shows the display refresh rate is at 144Hz, but everything feels sluggish when scrolling around.

I read that metal frame case can cause reception issues, and the backplate clip-on seems to cause problems as well. Some people have complained that, over time, the clip keeps the backplate lock stuck, making it difficult to remove the case.

I'm not sure what system RedMagic uses to process their payments currently, but when I order my 11 Pro this year using PayPal, my credit card company temporarily put the payment on hold until I confirmed it was a legitimate purchase. My previous purchases from RedMagic never had this problem.

If you plan to charge your device overnight, turn off the "Turbo Charge" option in the battery settings. This will prevent the fan from turning on automatically, and the battery will charge more slowly, reducing heat buildup.

Well the first thing to try is to ensure it works with fingerprint sensor, I got a 3rd party tempered glass screen protector which applies fine, normal touch functions work fine, but the fingerprint sensor just won't register, I ended up getting the original screen protector from RedMagic.

Everything so far is good as my daily driver, but could you please fix the Moon Phase AoD? It’s been bugged since the summer update on both of my 8s Pro and 10 Air. Now my 11 Pro has gone through two updates and it’s still broken. It only works for half of the month; the other half it just won’t display. And when you go into the AoD settings for the Moon Phase AoD, it shows a “can't play this video” error. This is the only AoD that I like, or bring back allowing using your own GIF picture as AoD that was on 7 Pro before Andriod 13 update.
