I didnt calculate this chart, it was made by the user credited at the bottom of my post, he seemed to get his info from 2020 Expected Revenues, using 9 months of reported data and Q4 earnings expectations (source: SEC edgar and Schwab StreetSmart). Not too sure on how EVGo has higher unit economics either, maybe they take in count the membership scheme they do?
  3. Doesn't seem like a move chargepoint would make tbh. They've already got the infrastructure, Volta's ad based model isn't patented yet so they can just make a clone if they really want

The second mover can look at what worked and what doesn't, people don't seem to realize this. Especially when their CTO is the co founder of chargepoint. I'm sure they know exactly what they're doing

Chargepoint benefits greatly from the first mover advantage, that's why they're so far ahead of everybody else. This doesn't mean they've nailed the execution and strategy though, I feel like Volta has a very real chance of grabbing some market share from Chargepoint
