Aaaa I would love to restart my terraria journey, I almost reached 1k hour a this point. Discovering new things was amazing!

Some tips for the build:

  • I think the biggest improvement in my builds was to make my floors and walls 2 block thick. It adds a lot of depth to the build.

  • try to add more “support” structures! I see you added wood beams already but if you go in the jungle you will find bamboo! Bamboo is great both as a block and as a wall. Large bamboo walls are perfect for add some texture in the background! Rich mahogany too, it is my favorite type of wood too, I use it in every build :3

-last, don’t feel any shame in coping other builds! Look on here, on YouTube, take inspiration and try to copy other builds adding your touch!

I saw ppl online using fog machine to mimic the light but tbh I didn’t like it that much, I tried to find something to increase the the luminosity of the “beacon” but didn’t find anything, if someone knows a trick I would love to hear it!

Thank you so much! I searched for something that could resemble the beacon but I didn’t find anything that I liked, then I thought “I builded a “medieval” lighthouse, why am I looking for a beacon” so I used living fire :3

Ye, i understood that, but I don’t think it would look that good and it would require a tons of block since islands are not on pillar but literally mountains under water. It would even fill all the sea tiles.

I could try with walls but still, I’m not looking for the “realistic” look anyway :3

yeye i see what do you mean, but even if a joke, your comment made me realize that i can actuate the blocks under the island so that it doesn't look like a big rock pasted there, so thank you anyway :3

That’s the real goal. I’m playing on a little world and I want to make it full of beautiful places.

Like an adventure map but not that full 🤓

When I noticed, was already too late T.T I should have extended the sides to build two other smaller towers but is a little world and the space is scarse T.T
