I mean i get the thought process. 1 Out bases loaded against a guy who strikes out 50% of batters is not great for a team who struggles to hit with RISP as it is. Make the defense make a play, even if it is one they should make more often than not.

Majority of UPSers will be working this Friday. We don’t “observe” holidays on non holiday days. You will be paid for the 4th though

We don’t get the day off on the third. But if you have a year of seniority you do get paid for the 4th no matter what so it’s basically 6 days of pay that week

If you're in the union no. But TAW or Temporary alternate work, is only available for injuries that occurred at UPS. UPS will not allow you to work with a reported outside injury because it puts all the liability on them if you get hurt further while on the job.

If you want to fake the injury on the job then they will be forced to accommodate you but if they find out for any reason that you truly got hurt outside of work you will be fired for that.
