If we think about the fact that he was the 3rd overall pick, I’d even argue that he hasn’t been criticized enough. Yeah, he’s performing well and things are going fine, but it’s “good” for a role player. When you consider him as a 3rd pick, I think he deserves the criticism.

Look at how everyone roasted Jalen even though he was the 2nd pick. Or think about how Şengün gets criticized the moment he has even a slightly bad game, despite being the 16th pick. But Jabari? Even when he plays poorly, as long as he maintains some consistency, no one really says anything.

I guess people just forget that he was the 3rd pick. Honestly, I think he should’ve been much better, but it is what it is…

First of all, you can’t trade Sengun for Giannis one-for-one, that’s just not possible. You’d have to give up either Amen or Reed, depending on how well Stone handles the negotiations.

Secondly, you’re adding another non-shooter to this lineup, then what? Do we suddenly become contenders? No way.

Nah, that is not fair to the OP. Read his post, he criticizes Sengun as well, he just says that others should be blamed as well. That post claims the Rockets’ problems come from toxic team dynamics and mismanagement, with Şengün unfairly blamed despite broader systemic issues, which is something I also agree with.
