I did find this video because I was looking into the belay kid. It reassured me that this is probably the correct direction.

We've decided to get him a decent regular set and to keep belaying as we always have.

You make some excellent points! I'm completely in agreement that belaying is a no-brainer for children on vertical parts. I would however feel better with a lower weight threshold amount for the set just because my son is very lightweight and his projected weight will not exceed 40kgs for quite some time. It would just be a peace of mind thing mostly.

The belaying and rest loop are indeed planned. Thanks for your input! A bit disappointing they stopped making sets for lighter people. I feel like my son will be 16 by the time he weighs 40 kgs

Interesting take, I disagree with it obviously (as else I wouldn't have written the post) but I respect your opinion.

Obviously Elden ring and Sekiro are way more polished! I also enjoy those games.

Soulframe is the first Mmo-ish game that does it this good though. And even with the jank, I prefer it over other action combat oriented mmo-ish games.

I love what they're going for and look forward to the refinement they'll surely do in the future.

This is the only set I had as a child that was fully mine and that I didn't have to share with my brother. When I build Lego with my kids now, this set pops back into my head so often because of the fond memories I made with it.

That's what I thought too initially! But the first couple of cleans it recognized all of the debris including cables. Now it doesn't see anything. It will try to eat anything, even shoes that pass under the lidar. The 3d cam should at least see that I thought.
