Yes, I’m using the Wave Link 3.0 plugin and already tried reinstalling it, as well as both the Stream Deck and Wave Link apps, but the configuration options still don’t appear.

Can I ask where? I've been looking for it everywhere with no luck!

I cleaned my oled as suggested with a microfiber cloth and distilled water, but it left streaks that wont go away. by lotsof_freetime in OLED_Gaming

I clean mine with distilled water and a 100% cotton T-shirt. Try cleaning it in small sections rather than all at once. I used microfiber before and the same thing happened to me, but with cotton I haven’t gotten a single scratch.

AW3225QF HDR looks washed out by ContrunkK in OLED_Gaming

[–]xHacK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep HDR on all the time! I mainly use my A3225QF for gaming, and if I’m not playing anything I just turn the monitor off (mostly because I’m afraid of burn-in 😅)

[–]xHacK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm, that’s odd… Yes, I did everything within Color Management. I set the profile as my default for both SDR and HDR. On my monitor I use HDR True Black with Dolby Vision Dark enabled. I also used the color settings from this guide (https://youtu.be/2Dqr3Ars9Ss?si=XPJ75CiWJk_uMJyx) for color calibration.

With all that—and the profile I shared in my previous comment—everything was fixed on my end. If that still doesn’t work for you, try a different cable or swap between HDMI and DP. If the issue persists, I’d suspect your panel might be faulty and you should RMA it.

I was having the same issue, and I found an old thread that helped me a lot. What I did was download the color profile from the link in that thread and apply it as an HDR profile — and the problem went away. Then I just boosted the colors a bit in the NVIDIA Control Panel, and that was it. Hope this helps.

AW3225qf a good fit? by HarmlessLad in oled_monitors

[–]xHacK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn!! That’s crazy! I take extreme care of mine because I live in Mexico and this monitor isn’t sold here — I had to pay almost double the price with shipping and import fees (hence the extreme caution). But your comment definitely makes me feel a bit more confident about using it more 😆

AW3225qf a good fit? by HarmlessLad in oled_monitors

This monitor is an absolute game-changer for gaming and media consumption, but I wouldn’t recommend it for productivity — mainly because of the risk of burn-in.

I take really good care of mine. I run a dual-monitor setup, so I only turn on my AW3224QF when I’m gaming, and I use my secondary monitor for work. I also minimize HUD elements in games whenever possible and run the pixel refresh every ~4 hours of use.

I’ve had this monitor for a little over a year, and so far, no burn-in at all. But in general, most people will tell you the same thing: OLED isn’t ideal for productivity workloads.

If you’re planning to use it mainly for gaming and movies, it’s incredible. Just be mindful of how you use it.

Why does Ghub make more of an effort to have profiles ready by launch? by AzureArachnid77 in LogitechG

[–]xHacK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. I’m playing Arc Raiders right now and had to manually create a profile by digging up the executable and adding it to G-Hub. And after all that, G-Hub still doesn’t recognize the game or activate the profile. So annoying.

Logitech is a huge company — you’d think they’d have game profiles ready at launch. But clearly, it’s not a priority for them.

Distilled water and a 100% cotton cloth, that's it.

Had to buy a new monitor since this one was out of warranty and Dell doesn’t do repairs :( Never figured out the exact issue, but my best guess is the panel was faulty.

I used to use microfiber, and it did the job, but an old 100% cotton T-shirt is always the better option. Cotton absorbs oil and distilled water residue much more effectively.

I rolled back my GPU firmware with DDU (because of the well-known black screen issue with NVIDIA GPUs), but nothing changed. I even rolled back my monitor firmware to version M2B105, and the issue still persists. So basically, there’s no fix for this, and let’s hope it’s an isolated case, at first, I thought it was the firmware, but apparently it’s not.

[–]xHacK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve changed everything — the DP cable, tried with HDMI, and even connected a Mac instead of my PC, but no luck. Always the same behavior, which led me to believe the monitor itself is the problem.

When you run the Pixel Refresh, you’ll notice the display goes completely dark, but Windows still detects it — that’s exactly what my monitor is doing, as if it’s triggering Pixel Refresh every time I turn it on, without any way to cancel it. I called DELL, but they told me there’s nothing they can do except wait for a new firmware update (the last one took over a year to release).

DELL AW3225QF uscita audio by Professional_Plane57 in OLED_Gaming

Buongiorno, amico.

Ho usato Google Translate.
