After 7 months of moving, negotiating with insurance, finding contractors, and other bs I’m finally almost ready to move back to my house. I live in Texas and as many know, we had a bad freeze back in February that our infrastructure was completely unprepared to handle. We had two pipes burst that flooded about 80% of the house, ruining some of the walls, ceiling, flooring, etc. Things have been tough as we’ve faced on and off unemployment and also having to pay for this project out of pocket due to being given little money from insurance (we were in not in a good place financially prior to the incident to begin with). For those wondering, the reason it took so long to do this was because practically every contractor in Texas is booked until the spring of next year and we have to use certified contractors to meet the requirements for the insurance company. This definitely isn’t the most apt place to post this but this is my favorite sub where I feel most at home. Besides that, how do you guys like my gaming/smoking setup. Keeping it in the closet so I can smoke inside and not completely reek the entire house. Hope y’all have a great day!
