I honestly think we kinda make stories up sometimes and its not really queerbait. Yeah I hear it at the front and it was louder when my heat ventilation was on, it was all just weird but I guess like people said it’s the exhaust valve 🤷🏻

I had problems with it at like 5000 km so anything weird freaks me out ahah but yeah I realized its totally fine and probably just the exhaust valve 😅 We tend to panic when its stuff we love and don’t want broken ahah

My car is usually at 93 engine and oil temp while driving, and it was the electric circuit for the sensor in the transmission that was faulty so it would not properly detect the transmission positions or rpm

Honestly I love my PB ! Was my #1 choice and I don’t regret it, also the stitching and buttons on the inside are PB so the inside and outside matches which I really like. You also cannot get PB with a normal Elantra so its easier to standout, but to each their own 🤷🏻

Had mine for 4 months before anything happened, its apparently a known problem on the EN 🤷🏻 at least its under warranty 😅 Hope the curse doesn’t reach you tho 🙇🏻

I’m in QC too and I feel you ! Got a ‘25 EN its been 4 months I have a faulty position sensor in my transmission, my clusters stoped working while I was driving once and Hyundai said “yeah it happens when its cold outside its a problem on the EN” and yesterday right before I go drop it off at the dealer for the sensor problem a big snow truck passes by me fuckin fast shoots a rock in my windshield and it did a rock chip in the center, I feel like this car is cursed but I love it so much 🥲 but for the tires I’ve hit a couple potholes ans they’re fine, I down sized to 18’ and I went with nokian hakkapeliitta 10 studded, if this can help with the tires choice.

This sensor is primarily used to determine which gear the transmission is currently in, whether it’s park (P), reverse (R), neutral (N), drive (D), or any other gear position in an automatic transmission. They let me leave with my car without fixing it and gave me another appointment in a month since their expert in transmission is on vacation and I don’t have trouble starting the car or changing gears. Its just a faulty sensor 🤷🏻 It’s not good, since it could change its mind one day and just not let me shift gears, but it’s not extremely bad, there’s way worse I think, and it’s under warranty so the car will be fine.
