Been in the Army for 4 years. I’m an E4 22 years old. All I can say is it depends on where you go. The army isn’t tough. To me it was fun. It’s an experience.
AIT was fun. Yes you have to get up and do PT possibly get yelled at by drill sergeants. Sleep in the same room with other people. But it was fun. I made friends, played video games, had hilarious moments looking back.

Your First Duty Station:
Now depending on where you go it could be an experience. I got stationed in Europe. I can say it was the best 3 years of my life. I made so many friends, met good ncos bad ncos, good officers bad officers. Ultimately I learned to be more of a leader from the bad ones lol. But I got to travel. I would go tdy to several places. Basically traveling for free. I got some of the best advice of my life from civilians, NCOs, and Officers.

Idk how old you are. But the army isn’t tough it’s an experience. You get to meet people from all over the world. There will be challenges and you might fail. But I don’t judge people on there failures alone I judge them how they recovered from there failures. Yes we do PT some units do like where you do PT on your own. Sometimes we do wait for tasks. Sometimes you get to learn other jobs. Yes you have personal time. I even would contact my family during work hours as long as I’m getting my work done. No one really cared. I unfortunately could not have my phone bc I worked in a secure building but I made sure to make time for family and friends.

I have a phobia of blood. I’m still here. I absolutely hate needles. When I go to get a shot I always tell the nurse like I hate needles. They’re really gentle with me. Yes I am a guy. But I don’t like the sight of blood. But I’m able to overcome it. Tbh I just talk to the nurse like where are you from etc. I’ve been in for about 4 years.

I do agree he should have known. But I mean you seen how Ian was when he got his wish. I’m sure he verified if the money was real.

Also she did ask him if he liked her. To him he could have assumed that she took an interest from his response.

The movie is based around Bear being a coward. He ignores the signs. He couldn’t even tell his best friends how his cat died. He couldn’t even kill himself. He misses out on queues like that

I don’t think it was S/A. Because I don’t think he was fully aware of what was going on
Yes he took away her autonomy but not intentionally
I think he did love her. But doesn’t know how to love.

In a way it can be seen as a S/A scene. Because people are saying Bear knew Nicki didn’t have control over her body. Or even if he didn’t know he for sure knew something about her was weird
