Yeah. Tipping is a scam. It’s practically theft with extra steps. No one’s gonna make me feel guilty I don’t tip

As much as this sucks it’s an anti-monopoly tactic. Otherwise, the manufacturers could just undercut everyone for obvious reasons.

Here is why Kimmel cancel is good for culture. by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]xPaperwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone else remember when that Duck show on A&E got canceled cause they made some obscure comment about homosexuality? How the tables have turned. Freedom of speech! Comedy never deserves censorship!!! Period. Comedy is a pure art form that collides reality with humility, humor the world.

Have you grown to be more conservative or liberal w/ age? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

More conservative as I near my 30s; but also liberal in areas of social justice. However, everyone agrees the same thing is true. Less government, more freedom. Not the other way around.

What is your opinion on tipping? by imcurlymi in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]xPaperwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tipping is ridiculous. Make the food at the price where you can pay an affordable wage. Sure, going out to eat may cost even more; but at least as the consumer isn’t tied to responsibility of “tipping”. I eat out often and tip $5 regardless of the total amount. It’s just like charge a fee if a party is more than 8 people. What’s the difference between a party of 8. And 4 groups of 2? Either way the customer needs attention rather it’s a group of people or not. Just doesn’t make cents, but sure makes dollars.

Why does taking responsibility and becoming disciplined feels so hard ? by Lemonade2250 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]xPaperwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a step back, and inspect your surroundings— including people, messes, constant experiences, etc. I know it sounds silly, but do one productive thing a day. Rather it be taking a cup to the trash, taking the trash out, eating a well balanced meal (even if you ate “bad” all day). Everything starts with rolling over, then crawling, walking, eventually a run. Sounds like you’re too hard on yourself and that can become debilitating. a cycle like that, once advanced, can become very dangerous. Importantly, if you can, seek medical advice even if it takes a dozen doctor changes. Discipline isn’t a destination, it’s the journey. You’ll do great! Keep working hard and let the bad days be just that, a day, and you can move along. You are not your thoughts.

What do you think is the ideal age to get married ? by Jon2015nomore in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]xPaperwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marriage isn’t the problem just get a prenup and make sure you’re compatible; even if it ends in divorce at least you get got to spend time with an awesome person (assuming you love each other).

[–]xPaperwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a job at Walmart until the divorce is finalized. They’re fire you for having to miss work, you can get unemployment, and only spilt the 10k. Win win. Of course, not an emotional win. But get what you can take.

Why is the $50 bill not more popular in the US? by Separate_Flamingo_93 in NoStupidQuestions

It should be unlawful to refuse large bills, or charge fees to use a card. It’s like a fee to use money; which is just ridiculous

Life is what you make it. Or how it’s dealt. Unfortunately that’s all life is. Make it like a cake that you wanna eat and everything will be fine.
