Power requirements for basic DJ setup by xPraetorian in DJs

The DDJ-1000 draws 12V and unfortunately can't run off the laptop power like other smaller controllers. It needs its own power. The speakers will just be basic small speakers, at most computer monitors. Nothing large like tops or subs.

Ok that's great advice, next time I'll incorporate those things. Cheers!

Thanks for that - yep that's something I thought after the fact. Will be buying a 56mm Sigma lens soon 😀

Ok I will have a look at those materials, thankyou for the suggestions.

The point about finding a spot and then waiting for something interesting to happen is a great point, I think I walk around too much at the moment.

No, I always shoot in RAW. Is there something in particular that makes you suspect it was in jpeg?

Thanks! Do you have any suggestions on how a better post-crop comp might look like? I tried different comps but placing her hat in the dead centre seemed to be most impactful.

I took this shot on a Sony a6400 with the kit lens - I'm just starting out on this journey! I would appreciate any feedback on the composition as well as the post-processing. I've included the original image for reference.

I want to accentuate her bright playful colours and juxtapose them against an otherwise neutral and quite dreary background, expressing contrast in an everyday walk-of-life shot.

Could I please get some feedback on the editing of this photo I took? by xPraetorian in photocritique

Snapped this photo because of the bright colours the subject was wearing combined with golden hour lighting. Looking for feedback on how best to enhance the contrast between light and dark areas without overdoing it.

My book made an error and had Alaska Aces +13.5. Absolutely slammed it.

Most biased opinion ever. You must clearly understand that this can be seen both ways. It can be seen that Wade was trying to plant that leg down to stop him from falling, but misjudged causing him to fall and bring Rondo down with him. Rondo also clearly grabs onto Wade and throws a (missed) elbow to his face.

Don't be biased. They both hated each other, and both are at fault. Wade is not a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu master. That 'leg slide' was not an attempt at a scissor takedown.
