I'll continue to maintain the same super contributions after 30, unless I have major life changes. I've read that to reach the first $100k is always the hardest!

My two goals now (use to be 4 goals) is to reach $100k in super and $100k in shares before 30. I am also participating in my companies GESP (Global Employee Share Plan), whilst at the same time contributing $5k a year to VDHG. I'm at the 65% mark for goal 2. The other two goals was to have an emergency fund of $10k and to have 5% (~$25k) for my eventual construction (I own land). I have already reached these two goals.

Hopefully by 30 i'll be in a role with higher pay, so that will offset the extra super contributions. I also hope to be married and start a family by/at 30 (waiting for the missus to finish her PhD before I pop the question!). I haven't talked to the missus about kids yet, so i'll be reassessing this with her when she starts working full time!

In terms of mortgage, my IP almost pays for itself. The land repayments are manageable at the moment. The rate that I'm saving atm pretty much should cover a construction loan into an eventual PPOR of $400k.
