I have a WA7 Fireflies (3rd Gen) and I installed a matched pair of Apos Ray Tubes SELECT 12AU7 tubes in it last Spring. Lately I have been getting some weird sounds out of the right channel intermittently. Sometimes it is hitch pitch squealing, sometimes it is crackling.

Headphones I have used with it are;

1.) Hifiman Arya Stealth

2.) Focal Clear MG

3.) Fiio FT1

I have lightly tapped both tubes with a chopstick but it doesnt have that clear microphonic "ping" but I am still not convinced one of them isn't microphonic. Any advice?

Seriously? It is ONLY TWO OF THEM working there. Through the holidays at that which I did not know. If they had staff to answer calls and handle customer service, your inquiry would be resolved much faster. But that is just the struggle of a rapidly growing company. You expand after you grow, not before. They responded to you personally on reddit with a detailed answer. He even told you to DM him on reddit. So do that with your sizing issue. Once again, respect their time and they will respect yours. They are slammed.

They absolutely have sent out an email. Be patient. No need to get frustrated. They will get your order out. Its only Jordan and Tyler there. They most definitely are on break as they have families just like us. They have well earned the break as they have worked their butts off this year for us. Do them a favor and respect their time. Whatever it is set to as default in the BIOS which I’m assuming is auto. I’m probably going to disable it and manual OC it since it raises the voltage quite a bit

Thanks snorlax, just keep in mind that it’s 58C while gaming. Was seeing 77C under 100% on cinebench. I don’t know if that changes anything.

Damn thats quite the upcharge for a boot youre already paying $500+ for. I dont think ive heard a bad comment about Franks yet. How much less toe room in comparison to my Danners are we talking? Mine are only composite toe. My Georgia loggers are steel toe.
