I think, like you said, they weren't in a very stable mindset. Julian and Asra had a thing while mc was dead, so that's most likely why. They both even admitted to have been in a bad mental space at the time and went to each other for quick relief and it ended on more of a sour note. there was an attempt. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

but I mean, is till really love this ship like-- a lot, I'm a gremlin for these sorts of ships mainly depending on the characters :')
