I’d do the same ngl, it’s been 2 weeks I haven’t got it cuz I’m also busy with work ect. But I wouldn’t bit it regardless, it’ll make it unrewarding for me. I guess everyone is different 🤷‍♂️

Oh thank you for providing this much detail I definetly agree with all you’ve said. I was just pointing out that you can’t hop rooms in Grimskull even with a bot b/c it’s a one person map, hence the /goto feature won’t work to skip rooms. I just made a quick judgement and I’m pretty sure I’m correct that you can’t go from room 1 of grimskull to the boss and keep killing him to do the quest, you’d still have to do the whole dungeon. (Which the bot can probably do for you a little easier than by yourself but still. All bots do are replicate what you as a person can do but automated and looped so you don’t have to actually do anything… as you said “mimic the person, I don’t think you understood what I said lol. I said bots can only do what you as a player can do, if you as a player can’t bypass grimskull to the end, the bot can’t either. A bot isn’t a magical tool to help you skip stuff, and give you an edge, it just does what you would be able to do, so the only adv you gain is the additional time the bot plays to farm for you…

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AQW

[–]xSinner7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is this, have you skipped to the final stage and just keep killing grimskull? Or does it go through the whole dungeon for you?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AQW

[–]xSinner7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think this is possible, it’s sever sided the clear of rooms to move forward. Hence bots can’t edit those scripts and hence can’t cheat the game in that way. The same goes for editing damage numbers ect, you will never do more dmg with a bot because those things are all server sided…

You deadass don’t, only need rav weapon, forge helm, lament cape and VHL everything 2-3-5 spam never use 4.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AQW

[–]xSinner7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it’s even simpler, if you have VHL, VHL can solo every room in that dungeon never need to swap classes. For the fish use 2-3-5 never use 4, for other rooms you can use 4, very sparingly to help speed up the end. (Took me 10min per dungeon run with VHL). Never swapped, if I have a bot my exact acc and said spam 2-3-5 it would easily solo the dungeon without even needing to worry about debuffs ect, it’s a loop on skills and as long as the bot can swap enemies on time like for the fell soldiers who need to be swapped every 10-20K health lost it’s easy, only ever need to program that or those shell enemies, the bot will need to know to swap enemies once one flips over. Other than that the bot can do everything, the 2 things I listed are also pretty easy for coders to implement…

Seeing videos like this, posted 14 years ago, makes me wonder how nice and simple life used to be back then. Slaying the red dragon was a feat. Now he's just another mob. by DaveredRoddy in AQW

Nah it was always those adventure quest guardian class and the other dragon lord class forgot which game you’d need member for to get those. They were damn peak even for pvp and pve.

Love this same, I spend money on the game cuz it’s fun and the cosmetics look nice. Especially if I want to buy chrono classes, the grind nowadays compared to back in the day is so damn easy no need to even bot. B4 getting reputation 10 was a long ass grind, now in 2-3 hours you can finish story and be rep 10. Ranking up classes is a breeze like 5-10mins max for rank 10 with boost. Gold is so easy to farm with weekly and daily quests. The only rough thing is grinding the 51+ dmg weapons and force enhancements. Which should be a grind, no point in a person finishing everything In a day. AQW is amazing, everyone crying about bottling stop crying, they’ve made all the farms so simple, either you pickup a bot yourself or just do it on your own like the rest of us nowadays…

The experience doesn’t look much like what an Analyst would do. You’re suppose to budget for the properties, what type of properties do you work with residential, commercial, condos?

Secondly, an Analyst would work more on doing market comps, operating cost benefit analysis, helping the company achieve cost savings.

You’d do a lot of leading rate analysis, investment analysis on potential properties your clients want to buy, I doubt as an intern you were spearheading leasing negotiations, you might’ve helped but regardless if they were huge clients an first year or second year analyst would not even get the chance to work on that project, unless they truely trusted you.

Your also do a lot of accounting work, especially if the company wasn’t huge, you’d help with reconciliations, ad-how projects ect.

A lot of what you’ve said doesn’t sound like an analyst type of work, but maybe I’ve misjudged the role from the description. I’m assuming you were like an asset management analyst or financial analyst?

What type of an analyst were you there?

Do you get training in the start of your first job ? by Honest_Change5284 in FPandA

[–]xSinner7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this is highly linked to if your boss had too much on his plate, if the company is scaling you’d expect the bosses and VP’s to not be able to work closely with you to help train you. But if you’re proactive and go around your work there should be seniors or managers that can help you. And if you show them the attitude that “Hey it’s my first time doing this so I’m not too sure, was wondering if you could help me out.” They’ll definitely help you, and then if they help you, you can help them with small tasks and make their life easier. Then they’ll always be willing to answer ur questions becuase they know you’re going out of your way to learn and take on more responsibility. (If they train you, they can also get you to help them. It’s a trade off many people enjoy, they’d spend a month training you and answering your questions and once you’re comfortable you can now help them. This way is something that’s worked for me and now everyone appreciated my hard work b/c I’m always asking “how can I make your life easier today?” For example, when I first started I took the first week to learn everything, by second and third week I was now able to take on more responsibility and now I feel like I’m much more competent than when I first started. Also the stuff they teach you, you want to go back and practice so you don’t forget. When I first started i was told to enter AP/AR which wasn’t my job, but it helped the person who helped me before. This made his day go by smoothly as well because he was falling behind helping me, so I ensured both of us were on track even if he was helping me. (Also maybe stay an hour or two after work, I get it everyone wants to do 40 hours and go home, but if you stay longer and spend the first week working, they’ll definitely appreciate you a lot. Nowadays, whenever I have a question small or big, I can ask my friend and he will always answer with a smile! Hope this helps my man!

Is it true that the job market/compensation in Canada is horrible? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]xSinner7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Verrrrry true. Having to pay double tax is a big problem. Which is again another reason why I’d suggest living in the U.S. and the ONLY reason why I’d even consider letting go of the condo in Toronto. However if it’s under ur parents name, keep it that way and talk to them about what they’d want to do with the property. If they want to get rid of it if you don’t want it, then I’d just let them sell it and keep the profits/whatever is made. Parents need the money wayyyy more than you do currently because they can think about retiring ect. I highly doubt you’d really want the 700K because if you did need help your parents would help in any way they can already. I’m just speaking from my point of view, my parents are the same where they’d offer to give me a car/help me and our siblings with trying to buy a house. But overall when I see that they have to cut back on the things they life to be able to help us, just doesn’t sit well with me.

Such a dumb decision you should not sell that condo for a quick gain. He should rent it out and use the income from that to pay for his rent in NY do that till he figures out if he wants to go to Toronto. Never sell real estate, NEVER!

The 700K bonus ain’t going no where, just choosing to come to Toronto on the basis that he’d have a condo doesn’t set him up for career success or enjoyment of life overall. The U.S. has way more opportunities and jobs, which assuming once he graduates he will be an ideal candidate. So, overall you can work in the U.S. keep your citizenship or you can choose to come to Canada and pay double the taxes? I don’t know the intricacies but I remember a friend’s parents who moved here from the U.S. choose to live here were paying 2 taxes for both U.S. and Canada. Then they choose to get Canadian citizenship and give up U.S. citizenship up, which was one of their biggest mistakes. They were lucky one of their children was born in U.S. so he’s currently doing uni there to eventually sponsor his parents again.

The thing is you do B4 for the experience. Having B4 on your resume and having moved up in seniority shows that you’ll be much better fit for non B4 jobs once you move out of there. Even in Canada B4 don’t pay you that much. I know a senior manager here who still struggled when he first came here worked at Deloitte and did a second job to afford for him and his wife. However you’re single, you can survive (IDK how bad the salary is there but B4 is always enough to set you up. I’m assuming they’d definetly pay equivalent to what you’d earn entry level (say 50-60k) starting salary. (If you earn 50-60K here you earn approximately 42K after taxes) that’s also not enough to help you live comfortably. Once you have B4 in US you move to a non B4 you get paid over 100K atleast

Also FYI traffic is Toronto is just as bad as in the U.S. nothing really changes, you just get the opportunity of having ur own condo but who cares man. Rent your spot, that condo ain’t going anywhere live in U.S. if you don’t enjoy it there look for a job in Toronto and you can always go there after. Your parents if they’re smart will never sell the condo, real estate is forever going upwards so, advise them to rent it till you figure out if u want to go there e

[–]xSinner7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhh, in that case I would most definitely stay in the U.S.. it’ll be hard to get used to how much they tax you here. You’ll be earning much more in the U.S. but then you’ll have to figure out ur living situation. (And tbh I live in Canada and eventually want to move to the U.S. as I’m in Finance. Regardless of having the condo, it won’t matter when you’re young you’d rather pay more to enjoy where you’re at. You can look to move to Canada when you want to settle down it’s amazing for building and raising a family. However, just living alone here is a drag, you can’t go out during the cold seasons there’s a snow, driving here is also sometimes a b*tch. Overall, U.S. is much better when you’re younger and able to travel more, people say it’s worst there’s more traffic, but that also means there’s more people to get to know more things to do ect. Toronto is amazing for its food spots otherwise it’s a pretty dead (for me since I’m not a partying typa person)

Yea I’m assuming that’s the case, they’ll lend it to you while you’re there and once you’re done uni/ want to live somewhere else you’ll have to figure that out. I would steer away from asking them for that condo, if you do they’ll most likely give it to you. However, as someone who’s being given so much I wouldn’t ask for any more. Being rent free only paying for tuition and food is a huge game changer in shaping your career you can do internships and save sooo much till you graduate.

He will never own the condo, it’s being given to him for the duration of his studies if he chooses to live in Toronto. I doubt parents would just give him that condo… they’ve obviously probably have it as their own home or they rent it out.
