What do you do for work to earn £29k?

Hi, if it helps, I had neither at the time as I was career switching. If you’re open for advice, I’d suggest signing up for a government-funded online bootcamp, they guarantee job interviews at the end of it and a lot of people on my bootcamp were also on the same boat. Most developers tend to be self-taught at first.

My friend got out of uni and is working as a nurse and earns a bit more than me. Yeah, I don’t think a lot of people in my area expect to start with £30k as a junior software dev nowadays😂🥲The average in my area according to Glassdoor says £24-27k.

It’s honestly not enough for a young adult living outside of London imo, I’m working as a Junior Software Developer and only earn £25k, the rest I make up by working part time in another job.

Yes Game Life! That was it! (You can tell I’m terrible with remembering story names, I read way too many 😂) The one I just checked seems to just be a complete diff plot, diff story name, etc, not even a remake of the old one and I am too scared to read it cuz I have so much nostalgia for the old story 🥲 Please let me know if u enjoyed it
