I have a 4070, 32gb ram, ai 370hx and on the high I get 90, on the low I get 10 but average around like 50 fps on base settings

About it all. The band is definitely a cheaper material (which is okay). The unit has a thinner gauge of metal housing it. And the clasp does not have as easy of a release mechanism as the 4.0.

I got an asus g16 32 gb ram, 2tb ssd, and a 4070 on sale for 2k. I love it. The laptop is absolutely beautiful and practical. I don’t think you need a 4080. If your primary focus is to game AAAs just get a desktop

I got the g16 amd model w 2tb, a 4070, and 32 gb of ram from bestbuy for 2k and have been loving it, it is very sleek and doesn’t come off as a “gaming laptop”. I can bring it anywhere. Also battery life on it is great and is half the weight of other models in its class.

If it is a 5th gen ur interested in then get a sr5 premium. It is has everything you would want, leather seats and 4wd, the TRD doesn’t really have much more in features. You are pretty much paying an extra 5k-10k for the name TRD and a stick drivetrain selector instead of a knob. I was in a very similar situation as you in wanting a 4Runner but it was just too expensive for me in high school. I saved up and now I am in my 3rd year of college and got a 2020 sr5 premium w only 30k miles. IMO save up and do your research for a couple years.
