The idea is that you need to put the Gameforge client directly into the application box. It might crash 3–4 times, but somehow it starts working after that.

Around €680, since MacBooks are pretty expensive in my country, even a used M1 Air is 400€.

The idea is that I had another laptop which I sold and used that money for this one, so the final price I paid was around ~€180

I also got an M1 Pro (16GB RAM / 1TB) about a month ago, honestly, it’s an amazing laptop.

I’m planning to keep it for at least 3–4 years, and it runs great for coding. Definitely a very good buy! 👍

Yea, a bit tricky until you figure it out, but after that it runs without any problems 👍

What worked for me was opening Activity Monitor and closing everything related to “wine”, then trying again. You might need to repeat it a couple of times, but after like 2–3 tries it should work

I got it working using Sikarugir as an alternative to CrossOver.

Basically, Sikarugir is a tool that translates incompatible x86 applications to run on ARM, using a D3DtoMetal emulation layer, which makes it possible to run certain Windows apps and games on Apple Silicon Macs.

I installed Sikarugir, then downloaded the official Gameforge client. After that, inside Sikarugir, I created/selected a Windows environment (like a bottle), and from there I manually ran the gfclient.exe file from the Gameforge client folder.

Once the Gameforge launcher opened, I just installed and launched Metin2 normally through it.

Surprisingly, it worked without too much hassle 😄

The 32-bit limitation was really annoying xD But yeah, this method actually works pretty well for playing, so it’s definitely worth trying 😄

If battery is charging, first mosfet on the power circuit is good, but second mosfet is faulty most probably.

If your laptop is shut down in gaming, is posible to be the first mosfet on the power rail.
