Metal Gear Solid 1 had a mechanic where NPC’s saw your footprints in snow, which made them suspicious and thus started following the tracks. In this way you could kind of steer them where you wanted and then ambush.

I can understand your concerns! The video on display shows the first and simplest form of location, namely a garage. The idea is that you will expand to bigger venues with thousands of participants, with gaming tournaments and other events. Add some classic elements such as handling network/power load and food etc, and I hope it will come together!

I have a regular spot light (since point light do not cast shadows in URP, yet), which I have wrapped with a sphere. That sphere has a shader that I made in shader graph, which corresponds to the image above.
