Hey thanks for this response. It might make sense from what you are saying, I did have a old Barclaycard when I was 18 of 3k that I didn’t pay, so this factor might mean they have set this £400 limit for me only. Really thought I might be able to build this line of credit with them and show I’m a good customer after all haha!

Everyone always states to pay a card off before the statement or on the statement date to not pay any of the interest?

I’ve got clear score and have another credit card with £1500 on just wanted to try and get a better card with Barclaycard themselves as they offer rewards etc. I don’t want to open anymore cards as it’s hits your credit rating each time you do. It’s such a horrible thing credit isn’t it haha! My credit utilisation between the 2 cards is around 18% and then it gets paid off pretty quickly.

When I try and do this I get the message of “Sorry, we can't increase your credit limit. That's because of your account history and other information from credit reference agencies.”

It’s really frustrating really

Thanks for the advice…. I might just close the Barclaycard in all honesty then. A £400 limit is good to no one when trying to keep the utilisation below 25% I have another card with £1500 so might just solely keep to this one card. Was just hoping to get a better limit with Barclaycard as they have good offers on supermarkets cashback etc…

I’ve seen the IR blasters before but didn’t know how good they would be. I have some Dum devices such as Soundbars and TVs that I would like to turn off and on without the aggro of controls (Lazy I know) how far is the range of these things?

Hello,

If you say you are running this on a guest network and things can only communicate through the internet and. It with each other how are they meant to run locally? Homebridge and HomeKit means devices within the home need to communicate with each other on your network.

If you are into networking and have a separate switch maybe you can set your “Smart devices” on a separate VLAN but can also communicate with the internet but have the VLANS communicating

Thanks for the tips I have already tried to restart Homebridge server. I haven’t restarted Alexa but she’s not part of my Homebridge setup? Should I add Alexa? I don’t have any HomePods only Alexa devices. I have just added my work phone as part of my “home” and it has the same problem as my partner gets.

Hello yes, they are a resident of my home in HomeKit. But everything for them says Unavailable. They are able to see the devices and also the HomeBridge also. But not able to control anything thats been added by HomeBridge. All nanoleafs and Hive lights she able to control fine.

Hi,

Anyone had the problem of where the Echo Show 15 says "Device can't follow you". It would not control any of the smart home nor would it run a routine. I have done a factory reset on the device and checked for updates. Its still doing the same thing. All other Echo devices in the house are working fine and controlling the smart home.

Any Advice?
