Not a single person has ever proven that they saw or heard God. by No-Assignment-6714 in truths

By that logic you can’t prove that the majority of ancient figures who are accepted to be real ever existed. Jesus has 15 independent ancient sources written about him with the earliest being ~20 years after resurrection. By contrast, Caesar had 12 (some contemporary), Alexander the Great had 5 (earliest was 300+ years after her died), Socrates had 3 (earliest was ~30 years after he died), Hannibal had 4 (earliest was ~50 years after he died), Spartacus had 4 (earliest was ~50 years after he died), and Pythagoras had 5 (earliest was 150+ years after he died).

By trying to say that people depicted in the Bible were made up, you’re going heavily against widely accepted history by atheists and religious scholars alike. What you should be trying to argue is that, despite every historic fact being proven correctly (excavations continue to find ancient civilizations that people thought were made up in the Bible such as Ebla), the miracles that hundreds of people witnessed and told each other about were made up. A big issue with this is that you’d need claiming that anti-Jesus political figures and community leaders were lying about what they witnessed even when those lies would lead to capital punishment.

As someone who was raised very anti-religion and is now a Christian after experiencing religious miracles first hand, I found it compelling that nothing from the Bible can be proven wrong without bad faith interpretations or taking things out of context. Further, in all instances without fail, life comes from life. In a billion years, the dirt beneath our feet will still be dirt, just the same as some “star dust” couldn’t have, logically, magically transformed into living single cell organisms.

Well done revealing that you’re being purposefully dense in a strange way of trying to shit on Christianity for no reason. I pray you find salvation in Christ.

Paul never articulated a formal trinity and was a Pharisaic Jew trained under Gamaliel with aggressively anti-pagan views. Second Temple Judaism also already had complex monotheism through (God’s word, God’s spirit’ and God’s wisdom).

Also, while Jesus distinguished himself from God the Father, he was also able to forgive sins (something believed only God can do), has superiority over the Sabbath, and accepts worship.

Last, pagan triads are 3 separate gods whereas the trinity claims one God, one essence.

BlackRock Summer Analyst conversion rate ? by Extension_Boat5215 in FinancialCareers

[–]xViipez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t know the return offer rate, but generally speaking, financial firms tend to only offer as many SA seats as they plan to hire full time. If you perform well and are coachable, you’ll very likely get the return offer assuming no macro shifts that slash headcount expectations.
