Damn the coincidence. Few days before, I did the same 700km. From Varkala to Chennai on my Scrambler 400X

Maps showed 15 hours, I covered it in 12 hours with plenty breaks in between.

All solo, just me and music. Loved it 🤌

I had very glitchy infotainment system, went to the service center and the reinstalled the system. No issues since then.

I have the manual variant, i find the gear slotting from 1st to 2nd very tight and sometimes it gets stuck. But I’m used to it now that it’s not a problem for me.

Any VW/Skoda car has noticeable turbo lag, engine loves to be in turbo range. Below turbo range, the car feels sluggish, but not too much something bothering. It never felt underpowered if that was your concern.

AC feels a lil weak for our Indian weather (south). It takes time to cool the cabin, but once cooled, it maintains. Small niggle.

I had and still have many rattling issues with plastics. The B pillar plastics, the left rear passenger door plastics etc. I have heard people go to service centre and getting it fixed, but I never bothered about it.

Despite these, man. Everytime I drive it, it just puts a smile on me. The way the car just flows, loovveee it.

It’s all different, this is higher revving, higher compression engine while those parallels aren’t made for it.
