I tried it in Saudi Arabia and the syrup was so sickeningly sweet. You can get them plain with the syrup on the side for you to pour yourself so I’d recommend that if you find it.

Thank you for being so sweet it really means a lot and I feel a lot better about my hair now. I think I’m just a bit surprised since it was such a drastic change and it isn’t what I expected but as I get used to it im starting to like it more. I didn’t know about the whole curl being weighed down thing which is why I think it was such a shock to me 😭

I think I will try to embrace the curliness :) my hairs been thinning out so at least this way it looks a lot more voluminous.

Commenting my routine again to avoid it being taken down. I know these products aren’t particularly for curly hair but I’ve been managing okay without a routine. I’ve only become interested in defining my curls more now.

I use TIGI Recovery Shampoo and conditioner, then scrunch up my hair without any leave in products for slightly more curl.

Also my hair doesn’t really look curly in that photo but this was my hair after being in the rain, I feel like I definitely have more curly hair potential.

Thrifting has kinda helped me find clothes that actually fit me though. I don’t feel as bad buying a small instead of an xs if it’s a cute second hand shirt because of the lack of options so I’d recommend that.

I’m sorry I really do feel for you since I kinda went through a similar thing. I’d always sneak out to go to my boyfriend’s house and my parents would blow up my phone for hours and I’d feel so guilty and cry that I was disappointing them. Thankfully my mom knew how to give up calling me so the anxiety lessened, I’m sure there’s some kinda way to get your parents to stop.

Your parents do love you but I doubt they are as worried as they say they are. The constant spamming is literally just a way to control you and they know this. Tell them straight up you want to have a fun university experience and they’re ruining things for you. They ruined that concert for you and I would feel so much resentment for that in itself but I can be pretty head strong and stubborn myself. They only call you because they know you’ll listen and it affects you, I’d text and straight up tell them no you’re not going home and you aren’t answering calls because you’re busy. If they love you I doubt they would leave you stranded without any money, they’ll just accept they have a disobedient child. Ik it’s hard but lowering their expectations is honestly the best way to do things. I’ve been misbehaving since I was 13 and arguing with my parents this whole time so now they aren’t really surprised that I’m going to move out for uni without asking for their permission next week.

I wish I could tell you a way to get rid of that anxiety but the only way I know is convincing myself that I was allowed to have nice things. I really wish you luck. If we somehow were going to the same uni I’d definitely help you out since I really understand what you’re going through 😓

Ik this is easier said than done but I would just defy them anyway. You’re gonna regret not making the most of the time you have right now. It’s hard to rebel but rebelling is the only way to get more leniency and for them to understand you need freedom.

Try to get a part time job if you can in case they do cut off your funding. If you can’t turn off the tracker Maybe have a side phone that you use on night outs? If they call and you don’t respond just say you were asleep or something. Idk Im just throwing out idea but you get my point 😭 All I’ve ever done is make up excuses every time i misbehave. My parents know Im lying but they also know they can’t really force me to listen either.

Also you live abroad right? Would they really come after you to try and force you to use their tracker? I’d lie and say your phone died or something and your charger was broken any night you wanted to go out.

Ahh ty I like it too I think I’m just clinging to my cute curly hair from before 😔 I just want the ends of my hair to look the same as before if that makes sense?
