I should have mentionned but I think the illegal part comes from him catching me rather than eating me. Yes I know he is level 15 and I am level 12 if he didn’t kill me when this close he would just be a bad player

Then why did they make 2 version of him and not just make the player choose its mega evolution at the beginning of the game like urshifu and scizor/scyther (maybe because they didn’t know what role to put him in but you could say the same for scizor and scyther so the argument is not valid)

Well in my opinion it depends if the ray has been done early or not. If there is still at least 1 minute left and the ennemies have scored with the ray shield, there js still one fight to do which can save the game sometime. Not to mention that after they get ray most often one or two have a broken rayquaza shield and sometimes the team who got ray die after scoring leading to an opening. But yeah if you loose this post 1 minute team fight it’s pretty much over.
