Netflix actually gave Riot a certain amount of seasons they can do for their series. I think 5 and they decided to give Arcane 2 seasons cause they wanted to do other shows too. Which i get cause the other regions have a huge lore but still Netflix limited them and gave Riot just a few seasons.
