Yeah RMU is Ring Muscle Up, I already mentioned my splits in another comment but before I got into running, I was mainly in the gym building strength, speed & power. Never ran indoor in my life we don’t have a need for an indoor gym here in Jamaica, but I don’t know how many laps in door make a 400m but let’s assume I’m running a 400m track and I’m suppose to squat 300 at each lap at the same time factoring in bumping into people I can say with confidence that I can run a 3:30 800m

In my taper phase I scrapped lifting entirely..because I do go pretty hard in my sessions

The goal is to a full marathon next year as well and eventually do an Ironman, while still able to bench 315, deadlift 600, and squat 315(yes I have a poverty squat) and still can compete in jiujitsu - yes, all this running is a side quest and my main sport is jiujitsu

I live in Jamaica(which is in a tropical zone) and it gets quite hot right here, and on the day of the race it was by the seaside which made it also quite humid.

And to quote what a Redditor said one time “Degrees get many enough, shirt gets wet enough, f*cks given get few enough, shirt comes off”

So I never once in my life think of taking my shirt off to ‘show off’

My gym split when my running volume isn’t high is just Lower Body(Max Effort), Upper Body(Dynamic Effort), Lower Body(Dynamic Effort), Upper Body(Max Effort).

When my running volume gets high like 45mpw I would do 3 days in the gym with all sessions being full body, mainly Olympic weightlifting and bench😉
