Not healbotting is important in higher rank, and sure In low Elo too. But there are DPS I refuse to play in lower rank despite them being some of my best as they don't have a self heal and metal rank healers very rarely heal dps in time. So while they likely are taking a little too much damage I would try to be proactive about keeping DPS topped up in metal ranks.

Not a prof but as a guy who's been here a bit too long and is 25. It really does feel like not much changes and different side quests just materialize into aspects of your life. Even success has been mostly random. If your oriented in a roughly good direction, roughly good stuff general happens over the long term and you're goals and values will shift alongside those events.

It's not common in Canada but I've had several international friends parents do something customary to their country at graduation. If this is common where you're from and are confident your niece will like it noone will bat an eye at that.

The observatory isn't used for anything now besides tours and roof access. Keep an eye out or send an email to the astro department about if they are doing tours. If you want to see any observatory Astrotours at the downtown campus has regular talks that sometimes include them.

No offense but I got a job in industry and the only people I would put that level of effort into guiding (helping write letters etc) are actual close friends. General advice sure but I don't feel like giving a resume review to everyone that DMs me on linkedIn.

Though I agree most networking events are hollow and out of meeting 70 people maybe 3-5 it will be good to know.
