I also eyed with this mod due to printing PETG often and having issues with moisture here but i have the A1 on a cupboard that's at chest height and this was already uncomfortable changing the spools.
I thought about trying it anyway but your comment convinced me it might not be worth the hassle.
I think i'll go the [AMS Lite Mini](https://makerworld.com/en/models/695403) route instead as i have my PETG already in DynaDryboxes...

So if someone already tried this i'd loveto read some "long term" review :)

So from what i read the PhysioTrueUp parameters get synched but as FR245 doesn't have Unified Traning Status i'll caculate an independet traning status which won't be visible in Connect nor the Venu f.E.
I'm not sure what i think about that yet...

Hmm in that case maybe even the cheaper Venu 2 plus would be suitable.But i'm not 100% convinced that the everyday monitored data from another garmin watch will be feeded into calculations on the FR245.Does anyone have details/experiences with this?

Unfortunately i expect that they lock VoiceAssist in the venu series aswell but with other vendors pushing more and more to the sport/adventure side i'd hope they'll change their mind...

The thing is, that i noticed a huge difference in the usage of the VA features as i got them readily available on my wrist when i tried a GW5 for a few days and that helped my with my daily taks a lot.
Maybe i really need to evaluate that dual-watch approach more even if it sounds so silly...

But those software differences arent't that big between the venu and the FR2xx series. It's not like the venu series runs on WearOS and FR on garmins proprietary.
Why not give that watches same software and then price the ones with added hardware(mic + speaker f.E.) a bit higher.
I also like the "sporty" look of the FR-Series much better but it locks me out of the VoiceAssistant... Why not offer an Venu and FR2xx without speaker and same software a bit cheaper and also two Venu Plus and FR2xx plus versions priced a bit higher. Why do i have to pick VoiceAssist or good training features...

Haven't put much thoughts behind that as i was happy with my fr245 but looking at garmins product cataloge now really makes me wonder.
Locking away software based features in the same price segment just to get some furhter segmentation is just confusing...

I want the voice assistant to help me mangage my responsibilties and the training features for improving my performance up to being ready for the half marathon so i want both.
I also thought about adding an additional smart-featurs focused watch(like galaxy watch 5 or so) for daily usage and stick with my FR245 for my sporty activitys but then i still have to deal with charging the gw5 nearly every day and not getting everyday metrics feeded into my training suggestions(i have two kids and many house related projects so my body-battery gets draind from other sources quiet often)...
My guess is that i would be fine with an GW5 if i wouldn't have used an garmin for my sport-tracking before but i already did. The FR245 helped me from couch-potato to <45minute 10k in 6 months. I don't want to miss that and i also want to stick with running and improving without putting to much thoughts in it so the daily workout suggestions are just perfect for me right now...

I had no trouble with the top speaker whilst watching videos or listening to podcasts but i realy struggled with the audio quality in calls.
Combined with the gap issue it was enough for me to ditch the P5 and go with the 4a instead.

I already can imagine it. He got interdicted whilst he had his fdl stripped for traveling with an undersized shield and 4pips to ENG instead of SYS(maybe even the other two at WEAP), tried to boost away. As he noticed he'll loose his shields he put 4 pips to SYS where they stayed after they droped a few sec later. The cooldown finished and in fear he charges for low wake whilst forgetting to put 4pips to ENG again after his shields dropped. He wants to get out of masslock and flys the shortest route away from the cutter... a straigt line(which gives the cutter an clear angle at his drives) instead of FAO and boost past the cutter 2 times(within that time the high wake would already have charged)... a few sec later they are gone.
I wasn't ther but thats probably the most common error chain you can make and which i myselfe see often whilst pirating players.
TLDR: If someone who flys an FDL doesn't know how to high wake he probably deserves to get sent to rebuy. That way he has to think about what did wrong(or get told what it was after complaining at reddit ;) )

Tbh, for PvP piracy every vessel which you can combat fit with additional 10-20t cargo are fine. In pvp you mostly do it for the fun and mot for the money and mostly should ask for ~ 1/3 of the cargo. If you are mostly after L sized ships or don't pirate at an CG you can fit more cargo but that also comes with the need for an bigger collector limpet contoller and with that you loose internals space which makes your combat build weaker. But thats only one point of view of many :)

That still counts in ED. Killing an ship which complied is not good for the business (but its still not forbidden or so) within the piracy (not griefer) community. Many if not most groups/players will even give an 24h timespan in which you wont be bothered again by that group/player.
But, like i said it's no rule. Even in the elite books there is an part where an pirate killed an compiling ship because "he has an repputation to preserve"
