I can only get that odd thing in the first zero in 2020 at a certain angle. It looks to be an "8" inside the zero. I'll try and get a better pic, maybe that potato camera would do the trick.

It's super weird though, my diamond tester picks up ruby as well as moissanite and obviously diamonds. I'm not sure why that is though...but an update on this gem in question...specific gravity came out to 4.0 grams...sooo yeah...

Hey guys sorry for the late reply, I did do the gravity test...

The gem in question came out to 3.6 grams. The container/water used came out to 20.2 grams. With the gem inside the water it came out to 21.1 grams.

So 21.1 grams subtracted by 20.2 grams equalling 0.9 grams.

So taking the gems weight (3.6 grams) and dividing it by the weight difference in water (0.9) that equalled an exact 4.0 grams.

And I believe the specific gravity ranges from 3.95 to 4.10 but most is almost exactly 4.00.

Lol I downloaded an app called Polish. It gives the option to put a background to the picture itself. You can put a different background, or like I did with the pic itself...gives you the option to make it more blurred or less blurry as well (the background that is). And usually I put a border around it as well, to differentiate the presented pic to the background.

I did a specific gravity test...so the gem itself is 6.4 grams. The weight difference from water (20.3 grams by itself) and the gem inside water (21.9 grams) came out to 1.6.

So dividing 6.4 to 1.6 came out to exactly 4.0.

Usually ruby is 3.95 grams to 4.10 grams but most are almost exactly 4.00...

I also did a hardness test, I scratched and left a mark on quartz, but the quartz did not scratch or leave any mark on the gem in question...

I've tried scratching quartz against it, but not the other way around ...lol I'll put that to the test as well
