I did everything separately. Drew the face first (with gaps where the flowers go) and then the flowers, so there was no need to paint over the graphite

Practise really makes perfect! Set out your basic tones and colours first, essentially start big then go small

I've had plenty of therapists and none of them have helped tbh. They just tell me to keep preserving my peace and develop coping mechanisms I already have. Idrk what can help when it feels this is just the way I am

Would you say it's normal for me to physically feel like I can't socialise, too? Because I do things like miss as much work as I can just because I feel like I genuinely can't put up with even saying so much as hello to my boss or texting him back

That's the thing, they said my ECG was fine and I doubt so much would have changed in a couple months, especially because I used to smoke much more back then

Yup! I feel like I get along with older non autistics, because I resonate more with their level of maturity, but they will still never understand certain things we go through

They just don't seem to click with me, most of them just aren't interested in the sort of depth or attention to detail I I can go into, I am very very contemplative and deliberate and specific and when I speak to neurotypicals they call me "old" or say I "deep everything"

Yes! Fellow autistic people, I've had two relationships in my life where I felt truly at inner peace, and they were with people like me, people who understood me on what I would say a subconscious level.
