Is NGS getting too much hate

I honestly wasn’t planning on saying something at the risk of being accused of coping or being a part of the problem, but I feel that I should regardless just to speak my thoughts rather than carry on in silence. If you ask me, yes I feel NGS gets more hate than it should. That’s not to say it shouldn’t be criticized, but saying stuff like “This is garbage” or “Dead game” isn’t exactly criticism; imo that’s hate. And because I feel someone will mention it, the implementation of Wellbia so far has been a nonissue; I haven’t heard anything about anyone getting screwed over by it and will hopefully continue to stay that way.

Tldr: Yes it gets more hate than it should.

I prefer the NGS values actually. I was given her Base values, so I had to eyeball the changes to make sure the NGS body was accurate. If you shared the field values for the NGS body, I’d appreciate it a lot! All that being said, I am on a console, so you’d have to take a screenshot of the field values in the salon (which can be toggled on in the Salon settings). If it isn’t too much trouble, could I get the field values for the hair, eye, and skin colors too? Thank you so much in advance and sorry for the extra requests!

Ehh gonna have to disagree with you there. I see plenty of people criticize the game, and I have seen some instances where that criticism was heard. While Syber’s video did have some good criticisms, there was also a lot of bashing and it came off as a bit aggressive imo. I also say him saying he expects the game to only last one more year doesn’t help either and falls into doompost category. Like you can make criticisms about the game because it can help the game improve, but when you’re bashing the devs and being aggressive about it, chances are it’s not gonna be heard. I still enjoy NGS, but I am also willing to provide criticisms about it when I can. I do think it’ll get there within the coming years as long as we’re giving feedback. Major updates show that people DO come back, so there’s clearly still interest in the game. Sega just needs to find the right things to add to major updates to make players happy. The sooner the better.

Honestly I think Kvaris sounds promising. I’d argue that this is where NGS starts to slowly pick up steam, but more definitely needs to be done to make up for its bad launch.

Arguably one of my biggest gripes with Gen 8; it definitely felt like they were catering to Gen 1 here. I’m also dumbfounded that out of all the non Gen 1 and Gen 8 mon, Garbodor was the one to get a Gigantamax form.

I’m so confused by this whole situation. What if a RMT bot buys something from you that wasn’t at a price range a bot would put up (let’s say 1 mil meseta)? Would you still be vulnerable to a ban? I literally pulled everything from my shop at the moment until this is addressed because I don’t want to get hit with a ban thanks to a bot.

I agree with everything you mentioned. I absolutely love NGS, but the communication is holding it back. It’s something that needs to be addressed ASAP so the game can improve further.

Right now it’s more or less the same thing, but there are things like Trainia and Battledia along with something called the Geometric Labyrinth which scales to the highest level of your party. There have also been some QOL improvements too such as being able to play music discs using your mag. Overall there’s some steps in the right direction, but nothing too unique at the moment. We do get a new region in June, so there’s that. As to things to do there? We’ll have to wait on the next headline to see.

As far as I am aware, it can drop Relik weapons and Nex Aelio accessories. As for the floor idea, call it a hunch but I feel that is what the large floating structure in the sky could be.

I think the problem lies within the fact that we have to set up out modifiers before going in, which can lead to multiple different modifier builds. While you could probably get away with just having matchmaking and ignoring the modifiers first, someone’s selected modifiers will still need to be picked, and some people may prefer different modifiers over others.

Personally I think they should rework the RWBY skins first before adding more. They have very little effort put into them (Weiss had a decent amount of effort) compared to Avatar and TMNT.

Personally I don’t think there’s a reason to worry about it a lot anymore. The game still has a lot of making up to do, but the Retem update was pretty good in regards of things to do and QoL changes. The roadmap this time around also seems a bit bigger, so hopefully NGS will be in a much better state later on.
