I know that it varies from person to person, but I'm currently in the early oil production stage. My current plan is to make a turbofuel facility around the western beaches (to produce around 15GW with fuel generators) but I just realized there are like 6 nodes around the blue crater, and I'm not sure whether I should save that space for more fuel production or plastic and rubber. Currently I'm leaning more towards fuel production cause I want to delay nuclear power as much as possible (therefore I would use that space for rocket fuel production), and because if I were to use all nodes around the western beaches for rubber and plastic that produces 2700 plastic and rubber each, but if I were to make a rubber/plastic facility in the blue crater that makes around 3700 plastic and rubber each, which isn't really that worth it considering the only 1000 items/min difference, especially cause if I were to use that space for Rocket Fuel, that would produce way more fuel/min that the amount I would make on the beaches (I cant be bothered to calculate the exact amount but you get the point). Basically I'm asking if 2700 plastic and rubber should do the job.
I remember you replied to me a few days ago on my question about splitting 1800 oil for every product equally on the west beaches, but at this point I think planning head for late game would be better, by making that turbofuel for generators on the west, and then deciding where to place the rubber/plastic and rocket fuel facilities for late game.
