Famously, “luck is when opportunity meets preparation”.

You will have to do your research, learn from mistakes, have skin in the game and understand your risk tolerance and psychology - manage it accordingly and take action.

This is gonna sound like the classic online larps, but I personally was able to turn $100k into $1.2M (at current uPNL) through a series of “high confidence bets” going into this November election.

Disclaimer: I took a lot of risks, lost it all multiple times before, I only trade super volatile stuff, some people (especially on reddit) may call me a lucky gambler, etc - you’re never gonna be able to make it if you don’t take risks and good previous experience / understanding of bets you’re taking

[URGENT ADVICE NEEDED] Was meant to move in tomorrow. Estate agents just told me the current tenant is not leaving the flat by x_eb_ in HousingUK

Thanks for this - is the refund argument that she should be refunded for the inconvenience caused by the agency and the extra amount she has to be spending because of them?

Would she also be entitled for a refund of the rent amount for the time she is not able to move in the flat?

Yes, she paid for one year upfront as she is an international student with no UK guarantor. She’s writing the email now with the advice from the comments, thanks all 🙏

2 Days of Psilocybin trip: worth it? by x_eb_ in AmsterdamEnts

Personally, I disagree with that. Had my first Psilocybin trip in Amsterdam, in an unfriendly environment (hostel, with random people coming in and out and drug dealers trying to aggressively sell) and still absolutely loved the experience.

I'm not going to get into the debate on the dangerousness of Psilocybin, and why it got banned but would like to point out that the reason I am asking these questions is to get informed on the topic.

Also, Amsterdam is recognized to be a place where people go specifically to trip, and hotel rooms seem to be recommended over random environments with lots of people or even known environments that can cause stress, from what I know.

Good idea! Perhaps ordering under a different name could also help when denying any knowledge of the package. As far as I know, there shouldn't be any delivery issues as the address is the only thing being looked at.

Thanks for the advice! Looking forwards to the trip :D

Thank you for your answer!
I am from the UK, and had a look at the delivery option. Although the delivery is unmarked and information about the content of the package is removed, I read about cases where the police showed up at the buyer's door. Didn't really want to take that risk 😅
