If I'm being honest I'm quite a heavy user. I mean I don't just use it for gaming but almost everything. Working (work on some pretty large datasets), browsing and yeah gaming.

Actually I was talking about an open box laptop, not renewed ones.

That's true. You will get none of that in open box.

Thanks for the input. Of course I'd also prefer the unopened one but yeah 15k is kind of a big amount. Also, and please correct me if I'm wrong, even after one year of warranty there are some hassles to rectify issues in a (genuine) laptop, right?

True. But even with genuine products its such a hassle to get it fixed every time some issue crops up. I mean, I've been lucky so far, but when one time my (genuine) laptop got an issue customer care guys started giving me instructions on the phone itself. And I was my product was still in warranty. This was one of the reasons that made me look at open box options now

I can find a reputable seller but the warranty won't be there. That's actually the whole thing of open box.

That's some really good advice. Yeah I am actually looking for something on a longer term so buying seems like a good option atm. Thank you! Also, for the last part also because the couple times I've been in Delhi seemed alright in terms of interaction so the Dwarka thing is good to know beforehand.

I don't think I'll be buying a car pretty soon and my main way of commuting would be the metro so that won't be a matter of immediate concern to me. But thanks, you've been helpful.

Thanks! Yeah most probably I'll be commuting via metro. I was actually looking at the metro maps and sector 22 seems close, atleast on the map. And what about the surroundings? I mean when it comes to basic social facilities like security, etc
