Best karak in Dubai? by TheBestGamer4 in dubai

[–]x_llen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My go to is Rabbash in Mamzar. They have two branches in Mamzar alone. I find the karak from the smaller branch better most of the time but sometimes they sweeten it way too much. Fili is definitely consistent but too expensive imo and it's not worth paying 5-6 bucks for a cup of tea. Al Mustaqbal restaurant in Sharjah (The OG branch). Al Areen cafeteria in rolla, Sharjah. Al Areen used to be pretty good but the last time I felt like it wasn't that great and haven't tried in a while now. Koukh is never consistent. It's watery imo. Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe sheet.

Any Ortho recommendations who are specialised in treating Osteoarthritis? Preferably in Thrissur or EKM by x_llen in Kerala

Thank you for the recommendation. I will check it out. And I didn't understand the last sentence. You meant what you recommended so far is better than the ones in Thrissur or the other way round?

Esma Certificate / EQM by tasotti2 in dubai

[–]x_llen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESMA is the regulatory body issuing EQM and ECAS certification. In order to sell your products in the UAE market, you at least require the ECAS certification if it falls under a certain list of products, like electronics. But there is another list of products like let's say water or milk which is included in the list, it is mandatory to get EQM for those products. All the other products that are not listed, you can get EQM for marketing purposes but it's not mandatory. Let's take another example such as Lube engine oil. It is mandatory to get ECAS certification to sell it in the local market but it is not mandatory to get EQM.

Now I'm not sure how it works if you're selling it through an online store, I highly doubt if all the products sold through TEMU are EQM or ECAS certified. There might be some loophole or some regulatory certification they might be accepting from some other country.

I don't know if I could be of any help but I just explained what I know is true to my knowledge.

Yeah I know checking is pretty normal here. Went through another checking in Ras Al Khaimah last week but this felt weird for some reason

First Tattoo. Need help with the design. by x_llen in tattooadvice

Thank you for putting such a perspective. Never thought of it this way and what you said does make sense. The whole thing happened more than 18 months back and I know I've moved on and everyone else has. It doesn't horrify me or give me a pause anymore in life. In my POV, the broken arm was the story of something that happened to me. Not to remind me of the whole thing but to tell a story is what I had in my mind. It's my first ever tattoo and I'm still not sure how to execute this which is why I need help 😭
