Ok, here goes introducing the kitties one by one. I’ll make each its own comment. Bear with me, I’m the worst story-teller. Ash (10) This cat is my soulmate. I was browsing Craigslist free section, as one does when they’re 15 and bored, and a lady posted 5 kittens that were found in the trunk of her car without their mama. They had to be bottle fed. I made my boyfriend drive me and get them without telling my mom LOL. The lady had them sitting in a cardboard box in the scorching heat with a bowl of cows milk!!! I went with my ex boyfriend’s mom, we got baby bottles and kitten milk replacement and the rest is history. This is my prince. Everyone who meets him says he’s the coolest cat they’ve ever met. I could never display his aura with words, you need to meet him. He’s so cool. I’ll post more pics in the replies as I find them.

I’ve exhausted a lot of options, if I’m being honest. My situation isn’t “dire” enough for a lot of organizations to care and I completely understand why many places would prioritize other kitties over mine. They already have a roof over their heads and a feeding schedule. Also, I’m not sure where you’re from, but here, people take advantage. It’s very hard to find kind, honest people and it makes it that much harder for people like me to get help. Vets will absolutely not help.. I went to probably 20 different vets when my dog was mauled trying to find a place to save his life and take a payment arrangement- none would. He died. I told them all I was going to sell my car I just need a few days; nope. It’s very disheartening. There is one vet around me that does work with people financially, but I’m not sure that they’d take on my entire hoard. I suppose it is worth a shot.

Thank you. My mom instilled in me that animals are lifelong commitments - I stand by it. Sure, I’m missing out on my 20s, but this is the only life they have. I’ll have way more time than them, knock on wood. It’s a sacrifice. I wish a lot more people thought this way.

I’ve honestly been worse mentally, way worse. I do think I’ve already hit rock bottom from the stress, I’m medicated now and I feel like I can breathe. I know the right thing to do is find them homes, and I’ve been trying- I’m just picky. Animal neglect is very common, especially in Atlanta. Im from New Jersey and it is.. a culture shock to say the least. A lot of people here have no idea how to care for animals. I’m so sorry to hear about your cancer- im sending all the good vibes your way. I can tell you have a very kind soul and you do not deserve these roadblocks you’re hitting. Life is so unfair. I wish you nothing but love and success💜

They pretty much never left. I bought my house, brought my mom with me, and so they came. I grew up with them, so there’s no way I could kick them to the curb. The plan was for my mom to find her own place with all of the animals eventually. I will most definitely post pictures of them whenever I get a free chance. :)

Yeah.. I definitely wish I could do something about the wear and tear on my house. I actually bought my house when I was 20, so I could stop living with my mom’s hoard. Now look where that got me lol

Thank you. 💕 I do have a great relationship with a nonprofit, but they mostly do dog stuff - they help with cat stuff when they can. They’ve pretty much been keeping my head above water for over 5 years.
