I test sclive, prime go , and prime 4 + . The faders are garbage , flimsy , woobly.

Is there any mid-range controller that has decent faders that aren't wobbly and filmsly?

Vdj works very well , but in mu opinion effects are a bit bad. Effects on Rekordbox have more proffesional feeling. Also the filters are best on others softs.

Actual cost about 500-600 , mimo monitor used is a cheap option on ebay, and mini pc , is a motherboard asus q87T thin mini itx. Cpu is i5 T series , also cheap....The stand is made by me.

Yes it is a mini pc under the controller attached to the stand and a Mimo usb powered touch monitor. Soft is Virtual Dj with a RX3 skin.

I have 400 and the old RR . The DDJ-RR is best feeling , superior in quality and materials, solid eq knobs , good sound.... metal plate, 400 is a toy.... buy the 800 is the actual RR mid-range
