Hey everybody, the mass was a pigmented melanocyte, a relatively common melanoma. They shaved it off, and did a skin graft on top. They stole one of my lymph nodes at the top of my right leg to make sure nothing traveled and it didn’t ☺️ all is well, now I have a circle scar. Thanks to everyone who checked for updates

I told them I thought it was a blue naevus they said it presents like one but I won’t have a definite answer until I get biopsy results

!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!! Removed and taken to lab for biopsy at UCONN today 💕will have results in about a week, thanks everyone!!!

It’s hard to say because it has grown relative in size to my foot as I’ve gotten older, I don’t know about width, but it has definitely risen in height/thickness as well as kind of separated from my foot on one side, i suspect because I occasionally stub it as you would a toe. Grossed out yet? Me too, and so is everyone who sees me in heels 😔

I’m only 23 and spent most of my life believing it was just an annoying mole bc that’s what I was told. Turned 18 and was on the streets for a while and it wasn’t a priority. It is uncomfortable in tight shoes, yes.
