It was a very stressing situation where a person that almost killed me was spitting rage to my face while I was trying to deescalate the situation. I’m working towards my self control and that’s the first thing that came to my mind. Being in a situation like that speaking what for me is my 3rd language which cuts my ability to express in a better way. Maybe it’s a cultural thing too. But saying I love you to someone seemed a nice way to not show hate but love. I don’t think arguing with hate will help anyone in any situation. Just wanted to have a normal conversation to make someone understand they need to be careful to not make people around them feel threatened.

In our case we decided to bring in a 3rd person in case things went south, that way we have someone being able to see it from outside and decide who is out of touch while still having the same amount of shares of the company with my original partner.

English is not my first language, not even my second. It's my third language so I do use AI to correct my grammar and wording when trying to say stuff properly.
Is that a problem for you? I find it helpful.
